How do the Haemorrhoidal Suppositories Work?

It composes of four medicines: Hydrocortisone, zinc, Lidocaine, and Allantoin, which help treat anal fissures. Hydrocortisone may be a steroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Zinc has astringent and antiseptic action. Allantoin has a skin protectant activity that moisturizes and softens the skin.

What if you forget to take Haemorrhoidal Suppositories?

If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Remove the wrapper from the suppository before inserting it. Keep lying down for about 15 minutes after insertion so that the suppository does not come out before it melts.
