Amoxycillin (250mg) / Clavulanic Acid (125mg) Tablets

In Treatment of Bacterial infections amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate tablets contain two different drugs, amoxicillin and clavulanic acid, which work together to kill the bacteria that cause the infection. Amoxicillin works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic acid reduces resistance and increases the activity of amoxicillin against bacteria. This concomitant drug can be used to treat a variety of bacterial infections such as ears, sinuses, throat, lungs, urinary tract, skin, teeth, joints and bones. This usually makes you feel better within a few days, but even if you feel better to make sure the bacteria are killed and resistance does not develop, you should continue to take it as directed.
