Dexchlorpheniramine Maleate
It prevents your body’s naturally generated histamine from having any negative consequences.
Sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, hives, rashes, itching, and other allergy and cold symptoms are all treated with dexchlorpheniramine.
None of the timed-release formulations of dexchlorpheniramine should be chewed, crushed, or broken. Take them in complete. They are designed specifically to discharge gradually into your body.
If you have taken an MAOI within the last 14 days, such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), or tranylcypromine (Parnate), do not use dexchlorpheniramine. There might be a potentially harmful medication interaction that has negative side effects.
Effects of Overdosing
Extreme tiredness, disorientation, weakness, ringing in the ears, impaired vision, big pupils, dry mouth, flushing, fever, shivering, and sleeplessness are all signs of a dexchlorpheniramine overdose.
